I have noticed a complete lack of metal music on late night tv. The only show that even remotely showcases heavy rock and metal I think is Conan. Now Leno had Ozzy but Ozzy lives in LA and is totally corporate. I think theres a huge amount of untapped metal talent that late night seems to overlook, instead choosing booooring lame alternative bands that they are still trying to sell to us. I believe its 2007…Alternative is dead. It isnt 1991. Or they play melodramatic screamo LA rock. Lame.
Conan has played Lamb of God which is so cool. Plus he had this woman on who teaches how to scream. Her name is Melissa Cross and shes been on a ton of stuff and trained or coached a bunch of people.

Credit must be given to Conan for featuring bands like Slipknot, Mudvayne, Lamb of God and Mastodon. No one else on the late night variety circuit has a clue about metal. No–Bon Jovi doe not count!
I am sick of rehashed music. I want new music. Metal has some great new talent that these late night show guys like Leno and Letterman are missing. Even Saturday Night Live excludes Metal. It is a conspiracy dammit.
